This highly pure (99.6%) aluminum oxide abrasive is suitable for
the removal of investment, surface oxides and surface contaminants.
The use of Blastite II, a 125-micron aluminum oxide for metal surface
preparation for PFM restorations provides enhanced bonding strength
between the alloy and ceramic. Blastite II is recommended for use
with the HeraCeram porcelain system.
